Actor Kamal Kamaraju (Godavari and Avakai Biryani fame) who is a trained painter is a good friend of Nani. During one of their casual meetings in the past few months, Nani asked the artist if he could come up with a painting for his home theatre.
Knowing Nani's liking for Kamal Hassan and his landmark film Kshatriya Putrudu, Kamal Kamaraju decided to paint the same avatar. Looking at the output, Nani was delighted to have his matinee idol's portrait at his home.
These days, Kamal Kamaraju has been flooded with lot of requests from many socialites to come up paintings of their favorites. One such offer is a life-size painting of Nagarjuna from his super hit flick Manmadhudu.
